About Me

My photo
Laura
Northwest, United States
My name has been a good name... it is both feminine and strong, and that suits me- as does living in the beautiful Northwest. I am a creative, just playing at this stage of my life, with a creative athletic husband, two awesome and sometimes challenging teenagers, two dogs, a cat, and some fish. It is all good.

Do they know something we don't know?

Imagine my surprise when I looked up from my computer and saw Robins flitting about my front yard. A whole flock of them! Is the weatherman holding out on us, or did the Robins misread their flight plans? I don't know, but it brings me joy every year upon their return. It is definitely a sign that spring will be knocking at my gardening shed soon, and I certainly don't have any complaints about that. I took a few artistic liberties with Mr. Robin in the photo below; he looked so great against the spikes of heavy frost that morning. I think this would actually be a great painting study... large scale. Hmmm, maybe...
