About Me

My photo
Laura
Northwest, United States
My name has been a good name... it is both feminine and strong, and that suits me- as does living in the beautiful Northwest. I am a creative, just playing at this stage of my life, with a creative athletic husband, two awesome and sometimes challenging teenagers, two dogs, a cat, and some fish. It is all good.

Out the window...

of Mike's office building, across the street and through a parking lot there is a photographer's studio. His roof is a wonderful garden in the summer with lots of pepper plants in various varieties, and veggies and flowers too.
I particularly like the way it looks during the winter, so since winter is still visiting us on March 30th, I thought I would capture it's look before it is cleaned up for growing season again.

Winter Rebuttal

In response to spring's second day, winter had something else to say... a confrontational challenge of snow upon spring's newly forged green, a conversation sure to end in opposition. If only they could stand apart from themselves and see from out here the merge of visual delight they play upon one another.

It's Official...

the Robin's are back! That means spring is on its way. I can finally see little peeps of grass where my yard is suppose to be. I think it's still under there. I will be happy to get my fingers in the dirt... get things ready for planting. But for now I'll just have a cup of tea, and watch the sun melt all that dingy winter wonderland away.
