It's Been a Rocky Summer

This time we are moving the rocks out. Our lovely lava rock has seen it's last days inside, and will be slumbering under the stars until next years summer project... new patio and rock wall reconstruction. It will be a great way to recycle all of this rock into it's new life purpose.

Mike's been haaard at work ... freaking me out with shaking walls that I could see from the outside... just sure that we were going to wake in the middle of the night with our second floor bedroom in the middle of the demolition room. All the pounding, plumes of dust, two trips to the dump and a few bumps and scrapes finish a long week of demolition. Back to the office on Monday will be a nice break from sweaty three shower days.

We just hold our visions of a dust free, spider free wall in our heads... and new windows to gaze out from after waking from a nap on the new ultimate lounge couch... aaahhhh.
Stay tuned.

Oh Hot Summer Day's

Still quiet sunrises... sleepy head mornings, waking from the sun warming your bed... children splashing and laughter ringing through the air... lazy days that return to the quiet reprieve of the day's heat in a blue, cool eve.

New Work

Mike's office needed color and some space taken up on the walls, so these creations now fill the void. They are 48in x 48in ... good size for his wall space... and good size for me to play on. Ooooh paint... I do love you so!
