Rainy Day At The Park

The rain reminds me of painting... when I'm just finished with a piece and apply one last layer of clear top coat to add a soft glow to all the colors and glazes I've carefully built up... so too the rain in a liquid veil softens the world to a glow.

PATHS TRIALS

Well for those of you familiar with PATHS I have taken the next step and we are trying a module specifically formulated for Cystic Fibrosis. I am just starting on the module and the PATHS team will be working with it and updating and changing it as we go.
This is exciting stuff everyone, potential to do great things. So I'm keeping my thoughts on success and on we go. I'll be reporting here as we move along with this process.
My goal is to contribute something to the CF community, and I have always thought the mind would play a big part in that... maybe this will be it's chance to shine.

For all of you out there dealing with CF if you've not seen the movie 'The Secret' I urge you to do so. An understanding of the power our minds play in the creation of our wellbeing is a great and empowering necessity for the whole of life. In every moment we have the opportunity to choose who we will be, and in each moment living in gratitude empowers us even more to draw to us what we need to create those things we desire.
Over the years I have shifted my perspective of dealing with CF to one of letting it be my guide and being grateful for it's teachings. Always in all ways it has shown me where I am out of balance and when I allow stress to reside within me or with in my environment it is quick to respond.
I gained a deeper understanding of this from 'The Secret'. My hope is that you will too.
Life is too short not to live in awe of the revelations given us in each and every moment if we simply pay attention.

Red Haste

Hasty hasty little red shoes... I love the way you looked, then sadly as the moments went by walking around my house for the test drive my dogs rejected you in all your cuteness... now what will I do?

Red Red Red

Wow look at those NEW red shoes! Red red red, I like red. I drive a red Jeep, wear red beads, and wear red "Red" t's, and please let's don't forget my favorite red danskos.
I must break them in for my safar to the big 'red' apple... NYC, they will be perfect for sporting through the museums and shops and what nots... and sitting on a bench in Central Park they will look quite fine while I dine on a yummy filled gluten free pastry of some kind. I think I will just sit and unwind in my new red shoes, and dream of all the magical places we will find.
